Tortellini ( stuffed pasta ) with peas and ham

I really love having the house full of friends, i like to cook for them. But somethimes it happens that one of them show up unexpectledy close to lunch or dinner, as happened a few days ago. i have not panicked and i thought to cook a fast dish but especially tasty, with some ingredients i had at home. Peas and cream never fail in my refrigerator. I also had tortellini. If you want to try this recipe ''of the last hour" but you don't have tortellini, no problem, you can use farfalle or penne rigate also. Success is guaranteed and you will make a great impression!
Ingredientes:
for 4 servings
400 gr. tortellini ( stuffed pasta or farfalle or penne rigate )
200 gr. canned peas
200 gr. any kind of ham
200 ml. cream
30 gr. butter
100 gr. chopped parmisan cheese
1 teaspoon chopped onion
salt to taste
Process:
Place the pot on the heat with salted water. Meanwhile put the butter in a pan, pour the chopped onion and let it fry for a little time, until it gets the golden colour. Shortly after, add the ham and continue cooking for 3/4 minutes mixing. Add the peas mix and turn off the heat. When the water boil pour tortellini and leave to cook for 2/3 minutes. Drain and pour them in the pan mixing it with the other ingredientes. Add cream stirring costantly. Tortellini are ready, but dont forget to sprinkle with parmisan cheese.
Notes:
If you like strong taste, you can use pecorino cheese
